We stand behind every piece we make. Our 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues — because quality you can trust should be quality that lasts.

Month Warranty — All Products

Every MXW piece is covered against manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues for 12 months from the date of purchase.

What's Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

Tarnishing Defects

Unexpected or premature tarnishing that occurs despite correct care is covered. Natural oxidisation of sterling silver over time is a material characteristic, not a defect.

Chains

Manufacturing defects in chain construction are covered. If an issue arises under normal wear and proper handling, we’ll repair or replace it.

Jump Rings

If a jump ring fails under normal wear within the warranty period, we’ll repair it. Thin jump rings may be welded for added strength where appropriate.

Clasps

If a clasp spring mechanism fails under normal use within the warranty period, it is covered.

What's Not Covered

Our warranty covers defects — not damage from misuse or normal material ageing. Here’s what falls outside our warranty terms:

  • Improper care: Damage caused by harsh chemicals, perfume, excessive moisture, or use outside our care guidelines.
  • Physical damage: Damage caused by excessive pulling, bending, impact, or force beyond normal everyday wear.
  • Natural material characteristics: Expected gradual changes over time, including pearl surface variation and sterling silver oxidisation.
  • Unauthorised alterations: Repairs or modifications made by anyone other than MXW Jewellery void the warranty on that piece.
  • Lost or misplaced items: Lost or stolen items are not covered.

Beyond the Warranty

Lifetime Support for Meaningful Pieces

Some pieces carry more meaning than others — an engraved initial, a birthstone, or a personalised combination you built yourself. For these pieces, our support doesn’t end at 12 months.

MXW offers lifetime support for meaningful repairs on personalised and customised pieces. You’ll never pay for labour — only the cost of any replacement parts required.
