Orders & Shipping
Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow your package every step of the way.

Can I cancel or change my order?

We begin processing orders as soon as they're placed, so please review all details carefully before completing your purchase.

  • If your order hasn't been processed or shipped yet, we can cancel or modify it at no extra cost.
  • For engraved and personalised pieces, once production has started, changes may not be possible. Reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist.
  • If your order has already shipped, we're unable to cancel it. Ready-made items can still be returned after delivery — see our Returns Policy for details.

Will my order include an invoice or receipt?

We don't include printed invoices or receipts in the package — only a packing slip with your order details, with prices excluded. Your order confirmation and invoice are sent to your email at the time of purchase.

If you need another copy, contact us at info@mxwjewellery.com and we'll resend it promptly.

Will I have to pay tax or customs fees?

All prices on our website are in AUD and include GST for Australian customers. For international orders, customs fees and import duties may apply depending on your country's regulations. For full details, visit our Shipping, Taxes & Duties page.

Packaging & Gifting
How will my order be packaged?

All orders are carefully packed in a soft pouch or an MXW jewellery box. If you'd like gift packaging, simply select the gift packaging option when adding your item to cart — available for $7.

Products & Materials
Which pieces are water resistant?

Water resistance varies by material. Here's a quick guide:

  • 18K Gold PVD Stainless Steel — water resistant. Safe for showering and everyday water exposure.
  • 14K Gold Filled — water resistant for everyday wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorinated pools and saltwater.
  • 925 Sterling Silver — not water resistant. Remove before all water exposure to prevent tarnishing.
  • Pearls & natural gemstones — keep away from water. Remove before showering, swimming, and exercising.

Are your crystal elements genuine Swarovski?

Yes. Where specified, our personalised pieces feature genuine Swarovski crystal elements — precision-cut Austrian crystals used as birthstone colour representations. They are described on our product pages as “with Swarovski crystal element” or “features Swarovski crystal.”

Swarovski crystal elements are a component we use — not a brand we represent. Our products are MXW Jewellery pieces that feature Swarovski crystal as a material.
Why is a charm priced differently when bought separately vs built into a piece?

When you purchase a charm on its own, it is priced individually. In our Design-Your-Own feature, charms may be offered at a lower bundle price because the system applies pricing per item added to a chain or bracelet. This means you may notice a small difference between the standalone price and the built-in price — this is intentional and reflects how bundle pricing works.

Why have some designs or prices changed?

We are always improving our designs — from upgrading stone settings and findings to using stronger wire or better materials. These enhancements are made to help our jewellery last longer and look more refined.

As we introduce upgrades, you may notice small differences in design or price between batches. Every change is made with one goal: to give you the best possible quality and experience.

Why don't you offer big discounts?

We believe in fair, transparent pricing all year round rather than inflating prices to offer large discounts later. Our goal is to offer genuine quality at the best possible everyday price.

We do occasionally run special promotions — sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about exclusive offers and new arrivals.

Jewellery Care
How do I care for my jewellery?

Care varies by material — for detailed guidance, visit our Jewellery Care page. As a general rule:

  • Apply perfume, hairspray, and lotions before putting on any jewellery — always the last thing on.
  • Store each piece separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching and tangling.
  • Wipe regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove oils and maintain shine.
  • Remove pearls and gemstone pieces before showering, swimming, or exercising.
Customisation
Can I request a custom design?

Yes. If you have a specific design or message in mind, get in touch and we'll work with you to create something meaningful.

Warranty & Returns
Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. All MXW jewellery comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues. Personalised pieces also receive lifetime support for meaningful repairs — you'll never pay for labour, only any replacement parts required.
